I did the cruise control test and I got this

Hold down off turn on ignition-got green CC light

Press on- green CC light then off then on then off

Press resume - no light

Coast - no light

Could the switch on the right side off the steering wheel be bad.

 

Has the recall been done? The switch on the master cylinder may be bad and one step away from a fire.

Does this same test apply to the newer f150s? 04-08? I tried it and it didnt work.

 

it worked last week so it is not the recall.

 

did you add any LED tail lights?

i did last week and now my CC wont work. they say i need to get a load resistor..

 

no led tails but. The tcc unlocks when i lift off the gas above 50. it unlocks right away and u can fell it. it didn't do that before. im thinking its the break switch.

no i didnt.. maybe this weekend ill have time to make it to pep boys or autozone to look around.

 

ok here is something weird. some times i press the cruise button and the light blinks on the dash, like it wants to turn on. And also some times i press the cruise button and the horn honks. You think its the clock spring
