ok, just recently the compass and temp light went out on my truck, its a 2002 so the compass is on the roof along with the garage door opener and sunglasses holder (sorry i dont know what its called) neways i think i can figure out how to take it off, is there something i will need to replace or is it just a glitch in the system

mine did the sae thing i just replaced the display with one from the wrekers, but you have a few options, buy a new one, probably 400 bucks from ford, buy a used one from the wrekers for under 100 bucks
or take it to an electronic repair shop and see if the could find the bad connection....

take it apart you will find broken piece hanging off board mine was capacitor resolder it back on and your good to go again
