Remote Start

First off I have two questions. I have a 2006 SCAB with the keypad door lock. I want to install a remote start/security system. My first question is: Is there any alarm system out there that can be overriden by the keypad? I enjoy not having keys with me to get into the truck. Second: if not....what is a good remote start system without security. I want good range, since my office is a good distance away from my parking spot. Im looking at something over 2000'. Dont really care if its two way or one way, that would depend on price. I was looking at the Viper, but any suggewstions would be great. thanks

Code Alarm srt6700 works with keypad. I installed it on my truck last December and have no complaints.

Only three systems do this and Travis from KC Autosound has them all.

Code Alarm CA-671 2way system
Code Alarm SRT-6700 2way extended range system
Ford Gold 6button system which Travis informed me last weekend he can sell now. Just hasn't gotten around to putting them on the website.

Give him a call at 816-868-2481 and LEAVE A MESSAGE if he doesn't answer. He's very good at getting back to you. His starter season has already hit and he averages about 6 to 10 remote starts a day plus all the audio, video and accessory installations all over Kansas City. Kinda hard for him to grab the phone when he's under a dash...lol

I bought mine from kcautosound and installed it myself. You can get step-by-step instructions from Travis. It is not very difficult.
