sorry if this is the wrong category.. but i have a 95 f150 4x4 and the speedometer has stopped working, jumps up to 10 every once in a while while driving. i had to replace the rear shoes & drums and do some work on the rear diff to replace a bad seal.. when i went to fill it up the fill plug wouldn't come out.. ate the square piece out.. drilled a hole in the plug & used an easy out.. got it out but it looked like there were a few nicks in the abs sensor sprocket(if thats what it is bolted to the back of the ring gear) anyways i was told that it would be fine.. went to test it and had to charge the battery.. after that i drove it around a while and noticed the brakes were really tight(they were adjusted as far as possible, i was told the would wear themselves in) after a while of driving i noticed that my speedometer was not working.. would the nicks on that sprocket cause this.. if not what should i look at?
