Dome and Bed Light

Hi Guys,I was hit on the driver side door the other day and have a problem. I am able to shut the door but the lights don't go off. I am sure that the door isn,t closing all the way but untill I can buy a new door I need to disconnect the switch to the dome and bed light. Can you tell me how this is done.
Thanks Elwood

Try turning the dimmer all the way down until it clicks?

Maybe try doing what the sticky "Door Ajar" thread suggests?

What year is the truck?

Guys- he was HIT so its not a DIMMER switch issue, or a STUCK sensor in the door. Regardless of what year look at your owners manual and pull the fuse for your Interrior dome lights. I'm unsure of exactly which one, sorry. Here is the link for the owners manuals
