On and off check engine light
Hello all, my check engine light is on then vanishes for a day, then will come back on and so on!
Anyone have any insight? someone told me it might be a simple gas cap replacement ?

Don't know if AutoZone still does it, but they used to ( at some locations ) scan the vehicle for free ( to get the parts sales ).
See if they will do it, and get the code, not what the counter guy from AutoZone thinks needs replacing.
Come back here and do a search ( in the engines section for sure, and maybe in the electrical section ) to get some ideas on the direction.
