New member here so take it easy on me.

I've read through quite a few thread about dome/cargo light problems but have yet to hit upon my problems so I thought I'd see if someone could shed a little light on the problem I have and maybe steer me in the right direction.


I have a 1998 F150 ...

Cargo light will not remain light once the door is shut. This feature use to work. Intermittently it began not to work... now it doesn't work at all.

I use to be able to unlock my doors with the remote and the light would come on and stay on for about 30 seconds, ....I get nothing now... It only comes on when I open the door. It immediately goes out when I shut it..no delay.

Door switches are good, dimmer setting is ok.

I've swapped the two small relays round that are located in the underdash fuse panel...didn't help.

Hopefully someone else has experienced this problem and knows what the fix is?
