My running lights work but not dash lights???

ok guys so my running/parking lights work but not my dash/instrument panel lights. at first my fuse #6 kept blowing out each time i put in a new one so i figured out that it was my newly installed led grille lights that i hooked up to that circuit. but i cant seem to figure out the dash light thing thats going on. and to top it off a cant RTFM (read the *******ing manual cause i don't have it, lol). thanks guys

Let's start off with simple.

Have you verified that the dimmer switch is not turned so far down that it's got the dash lights off?

Then go here....

https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenan...ls/default.asp

and download an owners manual.

Will give you a better idea of other fuses to check.

Regards.

thanks jward, i was always looking for that manual. but i checked just about all the fuses that it could be. i'm thinking that the dimmer control switch is broken. it smells like burnt plastic, but if i turn it all the way up my dome lights come on which is what it supposed to do so actually when i think about it now i don't know again
