i have a 99 f150
when i got the truck it didnt come with any key fobs for keyless entry

is there an easy way to tell if it has keyless entry module or what

does anyone know where the module is located at in the truck??

how much would it cost to put a stock one in it if it does not have it??

1998 & 1999 owners manuals did not have this in them ( text said to take it to the dealer ) but the directions are the same '98 to '03.

If it enters programming mode ( confrim by lock / unlock ) it has RKE installed.

Don't count it out if it does not enter the 1st time. On my 2001 with RKE from the factory, I added a 3rd fob, and it took me 4 or 5 trys to get it into programming mode, and I thought I did it the same each time ( obviously I didn't, else it would have worked the 1st time ).

Good luck
