I have a 97 F150 with an intermittent problem of the alarm. If the doors are locked, the alarm may go off at any time with no provocation. The battery is new, the alternator checks out. The starter does draw after the engine is running. How can I trouble shoot this problem?

 

see if your door ajar switches are sticking. Spray some brake cleaner in the latches and then some wd40 or other lube. It may see the doors at being open.
