Guys I'm installing an Alarm system on my truck and need a good under the hood +12V constant source other than the Battery Term. I'm waiting on shop cds for my truck. CAn anyone give a good 12V cont. source under the hood I can tap into? If you have wire color or Wiring diagram its much appreciated.

The post on the side of the fuse box with an in-line fuse will work.

 

dont wire your alarm under your hood. The only think under the hood should be the siren, and the hood pin. Other than that, make all the connections at the steering column.
