I have a microswitch just above the parking brake release. Does anybody know what it is for? It is a 2007 SCREW/.

 

Did you buy the truck new? Does the truck have an aftermarket alarm?

I had an alarm installed on my 97 and their is a micro switch installed to
override the alarm if I was unlucky enought to lose my key fob to start
the truck.

 

Bought it brand new off the lot. No aftermarket alarm. I will try and snap a picture later if it helps.
