Unhappy Power Locks - 2000 Supercab

My power door locks have gotten weaker and weaker. I thought it might be low voltage because I still was running the original battery with 107,000 miles. I bought a new battery and the symptoms still exist.

Both sides are balky, but not equally. At first I could press the remote a few times and they would finally make it all the way up. Now they are not even completly coming up even with the button on the door.

Do they need lubing? Is it the actuators failing? How do I get the door panels off to start trouble shooting?
