Wiring: Install B/U Lamps

I want to wire up a pair of tractor type back up lamps. I'd like to use an accessory circuit in the harness, since my XL should have plenty that aren't being used, such as the power seats/adjustable pedals, power heated mirrors, etc. and I want it to have no power when key is off.
Does anyone know what wire I should tap into?
Also, I want to install a lighted rocker switch on the dash, but I can't figure out how to take off the plastic trim to get in there. I'd like to put the switch on the small oval piece, beside the cigarrette lighter.
How can I get that off? I saw on another thread that there may be a wire back there that I could possibly use for power. Is there?
Thanks!

08 you have to just pull the whole radio surround. there are metal clips that hold pretty good so you are gonna have to give it a good tug. Pull straight out.

I did a reverse foglight install and you can read my thread for information on how i did it.

you will probably need to run your own wire to the rear of the truck to get power with key off. there are pleanty of wires you can use in the dash.

You mean the whole surround that goes around the radio, and around the heater *****, and around the cig. lighter oval? I'm afraid of breaking it. Where are the tabs that hold it, so I can pull close to them?
I don't want power when key is off. I want power when key is on, or in accessory position. Then I can use lights when driving forward, or in neutral, but won't leave them on accidentally when truck is unattended (parked for the night/day).
I see in my manual that fuse #3 (7.5A) is for power mirrors, memory seats and pedals. I don't have any of those, but wonder if 7.5A is enough for 2 30 watt lights.
Fuse #18 (10A) is for electrochromatic mirror, heated seats, BSM, compass, reverse sensing system, and power rail.
I don't know what BSM and power rail are, but I know my truck doesn't have those other things. 10 amps should be enough I think.
Fuse #20 (10A) is power rail alone.
Fuse #24 (15A) is for battery saver power for demand lamps, flex fuel.
I don't know what that means but I'm pretty sure I'm not flex fuel capable, and I like the 15 Amps.

So: What's a BSM and a Power Rail? What's battery saver power for demand lamps?
What color wires come out of fuse #3, fuse #10, fuse #20 and fuse #24?
