ok so ive been wrking on vehicles for a really long time, never had trouble finding the flasher relay...

theres a spot for it (im pretty sure) in the cabin fuse panel, but no relay. the owners manual shows like 4 different fuses biut no spot for a actual relay. The reason for all this is i recently got LED bulbs for the brake/tail/turn and they need a LED flasher, but i cant seemd to find it. I'd post a pic but the damn galleries are broken or something.

its a 99 F150 Stepside XLT power windows, locks, mirrors(oddly no remote entry that i can find either). no heated seats or power seats.

I don't think they use flasher relays on these trucks anymore. I've never seen one...just the accessory relays and definitely no flasher style relays.

It may be controlled by other means (GEM?)

 

there was actually a relay, located wayyy up under the dash. turn on the flashers and put yer head near the brake pedal, you cant miss it.

 

Yeah when I came home I looked at my component locater....and realized I had mis-spoken...so yes there are flasher relays under the steering wheel/under dash center.
