depending on the amperage of the cb u might be able to just splice off of the radio lead. pop the radio out and its the big red wire.

Considering you want the Subs and a CB added to the truck, I woudl add a fuse panel at this point.

You could do 2 Add-a-fuses, but you would have to find 2 hot in run position fuses to add them to :

At this point, using the circuit that 02SC4x4 made note of in his post to operate an additional fuse panel might be in order ( additional load of the subs, along with the CB should not be added to the factory circuit ).

Here is an example of how the additional fuse panel would be installed.

The circuit marked A in the drawing is the feed from the radio noted by 02SC4x4 , and then the remainder is wired together. The part numbers in the drawing are from Centech, a standard auto relay with wire and terminal ends would also work just fine. Also the fuse panel noted is the Centech one, but Napa also has fuse panels, they are not just as pretty as the Centech one, so that is a form follows function item.

hope this helps

Good luck

i had the subs wired in yesterday afternoon. right now the cb is mounted in my center console (very clean looking compared to being mounted on dash i think and real out of the way). i had run the wire for the cb thru the floor board and into the dash sitting there.

if i tap into the big red wire from radio are there any problems that could be caused from that? and it will turn on and off just like the radio as well correct?

yes, you should be able to splice off it like i mentioned. and it will turn off and on with the radio. however, if you start blowing the fuse for the radio you have overloaded the fuse and i would undo your work and instead use the radio lead to power a relay for your cb instead.
