02 Screw - electrical problem

New owner of a used 02 Screw with 80,000 on her.

Here's what's happening:
1 - Upon opening the drivers door, the rear ceiling lights come on as well as the outside bed light, all this i assume to be normal. However, when i stop driving and exit the vehicle, the lights stay on. They go out when they want to and at different periods of time (once instantly, usually within an hour otherwise).

2 - when sitting in the truck, no motor running, and turn the ignition backwards to just listen to the radio, the key sets off the dinging alarm when inserted into ignition and doesn't go off. This is inconsistent again.

3 - The "door ajar" warning light in the dash is on 99% of the time the vehicle is running. In 3 weeks of owenership, I've only seen it go out once and even then it was for no apparent reason or actions of mine.

Well, that's it. In the last 3 weeks, these issues have been pretty much happening most the time but not all the time.
Man i hate electrical issues...hopefully one of you out there have this wonderfully simple fix? <fingerscrossed>
Ideas?

Thanks!

I would read the second sticky in this section about 'door ajar'.
