Hi all.

I have a 2005 F-150 with a Ford branded remote start. It's not working. In fact, when I push a button on the key fob, the doors do not open or close, but the remote start module under the dash starts clicking away like mad and the lights on the dash etc... flash and blink as well. It stops for a while. But then, say when I'm driving and hit the turn signal, it starts clicking and flashing even while I am driving.

Does it need to be reprogrammed? I do not have the manual for this thing. I bought a new battery thinking it might be a key fob issue, but still no change. Neither fob works other than to trigger this clicking and flashing bit of business.

i have a similar problem with my 02 kingranch. when i start it with the key or reomote start the lights keep flashing as if i hadnt took control yet. it seems to shut off when it wants to , mabye 10 ft or 1km... remote and locks work fine... have noticed when i hit the lock button while key is engaged that it will shut off the clickling and lights......
stumped
