i've been wanting a remote start setup for my 08 and am debating wether or not i should get the ford remote start system. it's biggest advantage is the lifetime warranty. i figure if i got any issues i can just swing by the dealer and get it taken care of. one of the disadvantages is the price. the system with alarm goes for $300 not including install. also the dealer said if i cut any wires i void my electrical warranty. i've read a lot of good posts about travis at kc autosound and i'm leaning that way. if so what unit should i look at? any suggestions?
