I have a 2k 5.4. Yes I've had the recall were they added the fuse, but I also went ahead and put in a new switch anyways. But I'm having 2 problems cruise works sometimes along with the automatic door lock when you press on the brakes. If the auto door locks are working so will the cruise. If the auto door lock isn't working nor will the cruise. When I say auto door locks I mean when the truck does it when you press on the brakes. I can use the door panel switch or key fob and locks always work.
I had this problem before the brake switch recall,hens why I replaced the switch also. I've had many times were the cruise was working and I'd hit a bump and it would turn off,so bumps seem to be a big part of whats making it not work. Any help would be great,Thanks Patrick

 

make sure your brakelight switch isn't too sensitive.

 

might also be an intermittent wire at the BOO switch

I'm sure its not the brake light switch cause it will go days with out working, But I'll take a look at it to make sure. Whats a BOO switch?
Is there a relay that maybe powers both that could not be working right?
