I have a 2004 F150 NBS - I have taken out the back seat, I have the code for the door, the truck did not have the door handle with the Keypad installed from the factory I just added it. I went to test it there is no power to the keypad. My question is there anything else that needs to be done in order for the keypad to function? I have already taken it to the dealer they were not much help, he said that he hasn't ever added just a keypad.

I don't recall the symptoms, but there were some cases where adding the keypad, did not complete the install.
There, at one time or maybe still, was some as built data in the BSM/VSM that enabled the keypad to work. I seem to recall these posts were in the 2004 section, not in this section.

A quick search of that forum, and this one might produce the info on the as built data for the keypad in some MY trucks.
