Question Need fuse block numbers for 97 F150

I recently purchased a 1997 F150 Supercrew cab 2wd with 4.6l triton engine. In my infinite wisdom, did some wiring and shorted out the brake switch wires. did not get a manual with truck, so need someone to tell me what fuses go where. they are numbered, so if someone could list, ie. example 1-radio, 2-fuel pump and e-mail it to me I would appreciate it. I bought an aftermarket manual but no fuse block listing. am currently having the issue of not going into gear unless I start truck in neutral...if not fuse then I will check , neutral lock out switch...please help... e-mail: k4hmm@netzero.com

Download a free copy of the owner's manual from www.fleet.ford.com under the heading of Maintenance.

The shift interlock works off the brake lights. They have to work, otherwise you have to use your present work-around.

If it was the brake light fuse that was blown, you'd do well to investigate the cruise recall status of your truck. If it was not performed and the switch is leaking (which usually causes the blown fuse), your truck can go up in flames at any time with no warning.
