Does anyone know what code for air bag light indicator that flashes 4 times then 2 times and then stays on?

 

Air bag code 42 is for front impact sensor circuit fault. Ther sensor is located on the vertical support bar in front of the radiator right below the ambient temperatue sensor. They have a tendency to corrode at the connectors. There is a previous thread on how to diagnose the sensor. Use the search feature "Air Bag Code 42".

 

thanks, I took it apart the connector and it is corroded and had a broken probe. Any idea the cost of the part. I would need both sides of the connector
