been looking for a power mirror switch to get my power mirrors up and running. local dealer wants $44 for the damn thing. i found a switch on ebay with the wirings/connector intact, but it's for the 97-03 model. will this work on my 05? thanks!

 

No, the mirror switch is marked correctly as 97-03 ( and 04 L and Heritage ).

don't know why your local deal is quoting USD$ 44.00 for a new mirror switch, MSRP on it is USD$ 28.30, and www.oemfordparts.com sells them for USD$ 21.23.

That would be a huge shipping cost for a switch ( even at MSRP ).

At oemfordparts -> replacement parts -> Mechanical Catalog -> enter 2006 MY, for f150 p up -> Electrical -> Body Electrical -> Mirror -> Mirror switch.
This mirror switch is for 2004 ( new body style ) to 2007 ( 2008 I think there is a wiring change ? )

No, that is just the switch.

If you need pins to wire it up ( i.e. you are installing them on a truck without them ) you will need to purchase a harness with the same type pins, or get one from a bone yard.
