Wiper LInkage...Getting it back in?
Hello...I started a job that I thought would take about an hour. My wipers could be moved by hand, motor fine, so thought ball end dropped off of motor. I was correct. Took out linkage after removing cowel, popped ball joint bar back on, and tried sliding linkage back in.
For the life of me, that d*** thing won't slide back in. Seems with all linkages attached, the end by the passenger wiper sticks out too far to get back in right. When I position the linkages so passenger wiper end is fine, the drivers side linkage is positioned so I can't get the linkage under the metal cowel.
Anyone else have any issues getting the linkage back in? Any help greatly appreciated in advance. Oh, by the way, truck is a '98 F-150 4X4.
