Airbag light

Yes, I searched and there was a lot of info but I couldn't find my specific code.

When I start my truck the airbag light in the guage cluster flashes 4 times then 7 times, then 4 times then 7 times and it does it a few times then stays on.

What is this one?

You need a new chart.

See Electrical forum. I just answered this a day or two ago.

Steve,

How do I disarm the SRS? and what does RCM mean?

LFC 47 indicates there is excessive resistance in the passenger-side belt pre-tensioner circuit.

Disconnect the battery and wait one minute to disarm the SRS.

Inspect and reseat the connectors at the RCM and at the passenger-side belt pretensioner.

Inspect and reseat the connectors at the RCM and at the passenger-side belt pretensioner.

Disarming takes place when the power is removed and the internal backup supply discharges (the one minute delay).

RCM= Restraints Control Module (the computer that runs the system). Depending on the model year, it is either under the passenger seat, under the dash on the center tunnel, or is behind the glovebox.

lfc 27 is telling you the passenger airbag off lightbulb is burnt out, or not plugged in.

when you turn the passenger airbag off does the "off" light come on?
if not the bulb is burnt out or it may be just unplugged at the back.

I went to check the yellow connector under my passenger seat and as soon as I touched it the wires fell out! Haha, loose connection for sure...

But I hope I put them back in right....did the yellow/red stripe wire go with the blue wire? and the yellow/black stripe wire go with the red wire?

That's how it is on my driver side except replace yellow with green.

If I got it right, then why does the light still stay on?

Well, I took it to a dealership, and I thought I had fixed it but they said the "pretensioner connector" was bad and needed replaced.... are they talking about the yellow connector under the seat???

They said it would be $250 to fix it..haha wow

Problem solved.

I just had to get some needle nose pliers and pull the wires through the connector til they locked in place!
