I have been looking for a similar problem on the web without results. My wipers work great on high and low but the intermittent settings wipe several times then stop where ever they want. Also when you push the stalk for windshield cleaning it wipes for a while then stops midway. I have cleaned the stalk everything looked normal on the stalk. I am not having any other troubles yet, but not ruling out the GEM. Next I am going to ohm out the wiper motor. Looking for some advice.
