Theft Light Blinking
I just bought my 2000 F150 about 2 months ago and love it. When I bought it, there was an after-market radio in it. I bought an oem radio to replace the after-market and installed it last night and everything worked as it should. However, I did notice that the "theft" light is now blinking once every 2 seconds on my dash. I turned on the ignition and the truck started right up, but when I shut if off, the light started blinking again. What do I need to do to get the theft light to stop blinking? I am afraid to drive it until this gets resolved...don't want to get stuck anywhere...thanks

Please refer to your owner's manual. If the original is missing, you can download a free copy from www.fleet.ford.com under the heading of Maintenance.
Your system is working normally.
