All of a sudden I hear 3 beeps and notice I get a check gagues were my milage usually is. I then noticed my temp gauge pegs out to (H) Hot. Of course the truck isnt over heating because I can turn the truck off and goes to his normal tempture after restarting it. Its starting to do this almost everytime I drive the truck now.

Anyone know what could be the issue? Hope I posted this in the right area let me know if not.

Maybe a stuck thermostat? what about resetting the comp.

 

I dont think its the thermostat, if so it would show over heating I would think and wouldnt go back to its normal temp after turning off and back on I dont think.

How do I reset the comp?
