ok I need to pick some other peoples brain here. Went to remote start car in morning and had left wipes on. Wipers tried to move heavy snow that had fallen night before. Now wipers still work but stay in up position when turned off. Did I skip a couple of the plastic gears in the wiper motor. Can I just remove the arms put them back in the down positon or do I have to invest in a new motor.

 

I did that once on my '98 and all I had to do was pop the wiper arms off and put them back on in the down position, never had any more problems.

 

torkum, thank's so much for the info. I was kind of leaning that was but wanted to get so other opions. What you said worked. wipers are fine know. Thank;s again
