how to take instrument cluster out??

So i am replacing my cluster in my 2004 f150 fx4 with the console shift and got up under the dash and saw all the s*** in the way of getting it out. Is there a certain way to take it out, easy or not??

It's really easy. I just got done doing it about 5 minutes ago. Start at the bottom below the steering wheel and take out the 2 7mm (I think) bolts then pull off the lower knee plate. Then there are 2 more of the 7mm bolts holding the cluster surround on. Once they are off, run your fingers under the plastic trim that meets the clear lense on your cluster. Start at the bottom and run them around to the top. It should pop the 2 retention clips on the sides. There are 3 more retention clips in the rear of the surround also. Then 4 7mm bolts, 2 harnesses and its out. 15 minutes max.
