does anyone have or know where to download the pdf file of intructions for this Ford remote start system? thanks in advance....

 

I found out that the website we normally use for the Ford remote start/alarm installation instructions is no longer working ( www.gemsen.com/Ford ). Well, I emailed them to see what was up, and here's their reply:

Unfortunatly the web site wont be back on line anytime soon since Gemsens contract to represent Code Systems in Canada for 2008 was not renewed.

The Ford systems are made by Code Alarm aka Code Systems. I just signed up on there and I was able to access to the install documents.

Go to your local Ford dealer and they can download the instructions from FMCC.com site for you. We do it all the time for cutomers.

Do any of you know where to get the instructions for the new Gen 2 system? I've looked on the code website as well as ford's, and can only find the ones through model year 2009. We have a 2010 Escape. With the new system, it comes from the factory with a default setting to shut down when you open the door, this is due to the new Mykey. In the manual it says to take it to a dealer to reprogram it. Well, the dealership is about an hour's drive, and that's too long out of work, just to have them push a few buttons. If anyone could get them, I'd greatly appreciate it. Email is roy.money@us.army.mil
