My window on the drivers side does'nt want to go up. When I push the button I can hear the motor running but the window will not move. I tried the pass. side and that works fine then I did the drivers and it went up, came to the top and made a thud. I put it down half way to see if works and now it won't move, just makes a humming sound. When I bought the truck last year the dealership told me that they replaced a window motor, unfortunatly I did'nt ask which one. I thought I had read somewhere that these trucks have problems with the window motors, but this almost sounds like it is off the track. Any help would be greatly appreciated because it is kinda cold up here and we are getting some snow/rain tonight and tomorrow.

I've got an '04 and just replaced my driver side window regulator on Thursday night. $150 for the window regulator and it comes with the motor, and a $150 for labor! $304.28 OTD (out the door)

 

Yea mine went up about a year ago. The regulator is cable drive and one of the cablws broke. I had to have the complete asy replaced. Poor design.
