window

is the switch you need to buy the whole switch, even do the other windows work fine, the main control switch is a single unit, be ready to spend about $90 dls and not you can not fix it. I try it on mine. good luck...

window problem too

I have a 2006 fx4. About six months ago my driver window started have problems rolling up. Goes down fine and all other windows operate normally. Took truck to dealer - TSB said reset a clamp or something to release excess pressure on window guide. That worked for a llittle while, same problem is back. Window will go down fine, auto down too, but on closing....window acts like it is stuck and moves only 1/4" at a time if at all. I found putting pressure on window in various directions would help, but I dont want to burn the motor up! Any ideas?

Buy up used switches from ebay, sounds like that's what it could be. I wouldn't doubt the window motor most likely what it is.
