I bought a 97 f150 xlt the owner said that the fob was left on the dash and melted. This caused the alarm to sound, he got under the truck and unpluged something but can't remember what.

There is no alarm/theft light on the dash & when I tried to program a fob the doors do nothing.

Can anyone help me figure this out. What could he have unpluged and where is the rap in a 97. I have looked under the truck & can't find anything unpluged

 

The module should be under the dash in pedals area
