I was looking at getting an aftermarket remote start and keyless entry for my pickup. It is a 99 f-150 with the xlt package. I tried to put it into program mode by hitting turning the key 8 times but the locks never came on so i assume it doesnt have the keyless entry in it from the factory. The aftermarket ones that i am looking at is the Autoloc RS 5000. This is the remote start with keyless entry. It says that this is for vehicles without an existing keyless entry. My question is do these remote start kits come with everything for keyless entry too or do i also have to buy the keyless entry kit (KL 1600). Any help on this would be appreciated so that i can start enjoying these luxaries while it is still cold.
