Air Bag error code 4-2?

Deactivate the system properly.
Check and reseat the connectors at the sensor and at the RCM.
Sometimes it's just some corrosion in the connector pins and reseating the connector will re-make the electrical circuit.

I just got the same code today again. It did it a few days ago now its back.
Does disconnecting the battery deactivate the system properly also where is the sensor located and what is the RCM and where is that.

Could you please tell me how to disarm the system so i can check the sensor connection on the rad support? Is there one or two sensors on the support? Air temp sensor and the one your talking about? If so which one do i check?Thanks.

Amp) from the central junction box. This is for a 2007 yours might be the same but check your owners manual under fuses.Turn the ignition on and monitor the air bag indicator for at leasr 30 seconds. The light will remain lit (no flashing)if the correst fuse has been removed. Then turn the ignition off. Remove negative battery for at least one minute.The sensoris located below the ambient air temp sensorThen reconnect the battery

So your saying to turn ignition on then put the fuse back in? Ill give it a go.
