Compass not working...please help
I have a 2007 XLT f150. For some reason the compass doesnt work at all. In the display window i have to dashes showing where the direction should be.
This is how it looks -- . I have tried to set the zone and calibrate it, but when i go into the zone setting, it says check compass module. So i did, and it was pluged in and i even took it out and tried it in my friends f150 and it worked in his truck ... so i doubt that its the module. Are there any fuses that could have blown? or does the compass work in jonjunction with something else in the truck? The warranty is done so dealer is not an option right now. Thanks in advace, BART

compass problem
I see that no one has any suggestions.....would anybody be able to post a wireing diagram of the compass...this way i can start tracing the wires and hopefully come accross something. Thanks in advance
Hey there... I have the wiring manuals on cd but it is not letting me save it as a picture to post it here. Let me keep trying. Also not sure if you checked your email but I sent the info on the fog light wiring. I'll get back to you.
compass problem
Hey...got your e-mail and the HID fogs are wired in....works great! Thanks for the help. Now if you can just find out about the diagram....that would help. Or where do i get a copy of a cd with the wiring manuals? Thanks again
Hey I figured out how to save that file. I will email it to you. The compass wiring is at the bottom of the diagram. The compass module is the little box on the arm of the rearview mirror. Might want to check there first. Let me know how you make out...
