Hi I have a 98 F150SC 4.6. I need a new battery.My battery has 750cca. Auto zone and Advanced are the 2 big part stores aroud here. They are both around $95 out the door. Sears wants $115. But Walmart has their maxx brand for around 75 out the door.Has anyone here had any experince with them . If they are junk I would rather pay the extra money than have to replace it again. Thanks for any help

 

what are you running off the battery-just the truck or do you have aftermarket goodies like lights, radio, winch etc.
If its just the truck a duralast gold from autozone will suite fine, but if you have high demand on your battery i would get an optima yellow top

 

Just the stock stuff.I do listen to the radio /cd player while its not running.

Thanks for your help. I went with a NAPA battery. I have AAA and get a discount that amounts to sales tax. It was only $8 more than Walmart and has more CCAs.
