Since my thread about my horn and cruise control doesn't seem to be getting much response, I figured I'd start a new thread with my latest question regarding this situation.

Neither my horn nor my cruise control work on the '99 F-150 that I just bought this week. After reading here, I'd hoped that it was just the shared relay in the engine compartment fuse box, since my airbag light is NOT on. Changing the relay today did not fix the problem.

My question is: can the clockspring be bad, causing the horn and cruise control to fail, yet allowing the airbag to still function?
