02 f150 check engine light please help

where is the wire to the check engine light so i can cut it? thanks in advance guys!

Its the negative battery cable. Sure wish you had a cheby to tear up and not a Ford

Come on now, the Chevy guys just pull the bulb out, they are not that bad of butchers are they ?

Why would you want to do that..
1.dont want to buy MIL eliminators <SP?
2.too costly to fix the real problem
3.just dont like modern electronics so just chop it up
4.dont realize it is trying to tell you something

^^ Just kidding by the way i just cant understand you would want to alter your diagnostic system on a car/truck you paid money for... It is there for a reason

because i took it to advanced auto parts and autozone to check it out and it wont evern read my truck, says its not plugged in.

Replace the fuse for your cigarette lighter.

open the owners manual in your glove box and flip to the fuse pages, look for cigarette lighter, and locate the corresponding fuse.
