Heres my plan....
Heres my plan....
Ok here is my plan....but may need some help/input...I want to utilize my "High Mount" cargo lights as Rear Facing "Alternating Wig-Wag" Emergency lights...Autolumination.com has a 2 Circuit 12 Volt LED WIG WAG Safety Strobe Controller available....it works with Led Lights....I would buy and install two "Led 921`s"....up here we use "Green" for Volunteer Firefighters..so I may purchase Green ones or leave them white not sure yet....Is there a way to tap into the wire so I can still use them as Cargo lights and Emergency lights.....I can live without the cargo light if need be....anybody have some input...I plan on wiring the "Wig-Wag" controller into my existing " Emergency lights switch"
If you want to save the cargo lamp function of your lights, you would need to install a diode, so the wig wag circuit did not try to run the interior lamps on the truck. You would need to put this somewhere in the circuit running down the rear C-pillar.
Not sure what you meant by Emergency lights switch. If you mean you hazard light switch, that would take a latching relay, as the flash is feed into the hazard switch, then on to the stop / turn bulbs. The Wig Wag controller would need to have constant voltage to run ( I am taking a SWAG ).

thanks for the input.....I already have two Led strobes behind the grill...wired to a switch(Emergency Light Switch)....the wig wag controller would get power off the same source as my Led strobes....then pass through controller and onto the cargo lights...by cutting the cargo light wires and splicing the controller wires into those..thats what I want to do.....I could live without Cargo lights....
