Yet Again...
Sorry guys if this has been covered like 100 times.. I was searching tonight and could night find a definite answer..
I have an 06 w/o fog lights. An 06 comes with the round ones. I do not like the round ones and would like to put a new bumper on that has the rectangle fog light holes.
If i get the bumper, brackets, hardware, lights, etc.. Can the 04-05 bumper bolt up on an 06??
Not to concerned about the wiring aspect, that is easy.. Just wondering if i should go for the rectangle ones i like and hope it works over the round ones i know will work..
Poll: Either way- Painted bumper or chrome?? Currently have chrome on front and rear, and the truck is black.
Thanks

Yes, from what i've seen on here. If you are going from 05 older to 06 newer bumper or vice-versa you will need all the brackets as they have changed in 2006+ trucks. I did the 06 for 06 with fogs so all I needed for the bumper was the bumper itself. Brackets just swapped over to new one.

When you are searching for the bumper, here is the part# 6L3Z-17757-BA and the headlight switch with fogs (flint color, other colors would be different#) 5L3Z-11654-CAA My truck was wired from the headlight switch to the fuse panel at the pass side kick panel. Even the fuse and relay was there. Just had to run a wire from there to each fog light and a ground wire to each.
