a/c blows when key is off

Just noticed that when I turn the ignition key off my blower motor (a/c or heat) stays running. Anyone ever experience this and know how to fix it? thanks

Probably yet another leaky windshield that has allowed water to infiltrate the GEM module or the fuse box.

It could simply be a sticking relay. It would be helpful if we knew what year, make, and model we were dealing with first...

yeh, i guess that would help. It's a 2000 Expedition. On my way to work this morning, other things started happening; no radio when I put it in gear, no windshield wipers, and blower still runs after key is turned off. Is it time to get rid of this thing or what. What is the "GEM" module?

What about when you place the HVAC control **** in the OFF position? Does it continue to blow? Do you have the electronic temp control, or the three manual *****?

it turns off when in off position. have manual controls. I think the problem is more than the blower, because off all the other things that just happened this morning.
