Right Turn Signal Blinking Fast, Hazards Not Working

I have a 97 F150 and the right front turn signal light does not blink and I get a fast blinking sound when I turn it on. I replaced the bulb and it lights up but does not blink. I also noticed that the hazard lights do not come on at all when I depress the hazard button. Nothing at all happens no clicking sound no flashing lights. Any ideas?

Or a fuse is blown, check and replace both if needed.

same thing - but different

same thing just happened to me today. right rear signal went out. when i went to signal the dash signal was flashing reallly fast. guess it's the way ford engineered it to let you know a bulb's out. btw my front signal and sideview mirror signal still work. the sideview was flashing fast as well. i'm assuming it's just the bulb. adam

I had the same problem. I replaced the multi-function turn signal, cruise control, wiper switch. It worked well for 2 weeks and same thing started happening again. I removed it again today and it turns out it is the connector. The clips that hold the connector iin place are broken. When the signals didn't work I wiggled the connector and they started working. I ordered the wire loom today and it cost around $40. Will get it tomorrow and I'll let you know if it worked. i'm pretty sure this is your problem because you say your hazards didn't work either. That was my exact same problem.

I think you just need some Blinker Fluid, http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...&products_id=6

That should fix it
