Interior Light Problems

When I open the driver door and close it, it will take some time before the lights go out and the door ajar light goes out. Sometimes when I leave the vehicle it might take 20 minutes or more for the light to go out. Anyone else have this happen and how did you fix it?

Thanks
Johnny

Sounds like the door switch is not working, and the battery saver relay is taking over.

Read the sticky at the top of this forum, see if this applies to you ( sounds like it does ) :

Is this the key in ign chime you are talking about, as in no matter if the key is in the ign or not, you get the chime ?
