Outside temp reading wrong..

I have an 05 f150 fx4. The outside temp reading on my truck always reads around 100+ degrees. I assume it's just a sensor? But I have no clue were to look.. It's outa warrenty, so I was hoping it's something I could do. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Your problem is most likely the sensor itself. The sensor resides behind the grill, in front, and mounted near, the top of the radiator. The sensor is about 3/4" in diameter, about 1 1/2" long, with a two wire connector attached to it.
