Hi WOW - My 1996 F-150 electrical system was just fine until we had to rent a tow behind car dolly-- they rental place plugged the trailor in and this is where we are:
I have tail lights ( when parks and headlights are on) on both the passenger and driver side. NO brake lights or turn signals on either side, NO 4 way Hazzards, No emergency stop brake light top of cab light either ![/B]I found 3 blown fuses in the engine compartment ( fuses in driver side dash all ok, cvheck with ohm meter twice) the right and left turn 10 amps blown- the 25 amp Hazzards blown
Replaced these and still no brakes, turn signals or hazzards woirking. It is at the machanic now and he can not find this problem either.
also replace the 3751 brake and turn bulbs thinking that the filiments blew NOPE
please help as I can't drive this truck without and brake and Turn signals. just to add a little more intrest, when you open the drivers door SOMETIMES the cab brake light flickers I am LOST pleae help NOW! email me if you can at probowler9@hotmail.com does anyone have any schematrics to fix this or had this happen to them??

Did you have an existing trailer harness, or did the rental place hook one up?
The turns, hazard, and brake are all the same lamp at the rear. Sounds as if a something in the circuit has been shorted.
Suggest to look closely at what the trailer rental place did - the problems didn't start until after they did this work. To be blowing fuses of that size, it's a pretty good short. Perhaps something in the trailer connector itself is bad or crossed over.
