Mystery Wire???

I am having a problem identifying a wiring harness on my 2002 F150 King Ranch. While repairing the front end of my truck from another deer damage incident I came across a wiring harness that I can't figure out where it should connect to. It is located on the inside of the front bumper on the driver's side of the truck. The wires from this harness run along with the wiring for the fog light harness. On the passenger side of the truck there is a similar harness that attaches to the horn but there is no horn on the driver's side so I don't know what this should connect to. I don't remember disconnecting it so I don't know if it came loose during the accident or if it was ever connected at all(?) I posted the link for a pic of the 2 harnesses (the fog light harness is on the right, the mystery one is on the left.) Not sure if the pic will show up, I have had a lot of trouble trying to post pics on here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Glad to know I am not the only one with this problem! I'm not gonna worry about it for now then. I haven't noticed anything that hasn't been working.

I am going to say DRL resistor plug, if you had DRL's installed, there would be a resistor block installed in it ( doesn't look like there is one ).

Take a look here, and see if this is the location you are talking about ( down towards the bottom of the page )

This is the specific picture I am talking about ( blue arrow ):

Either way ( enabled or disabled ) it is stored in a hole like 2002 wonderboy's post made note of.

I think your right. That does look similar to mine. My truck has always had the DRL "on" because I never use my headlight switch except when I need the fog lights on. There is also a little plug a few inches from the end where it would attach to a hole somewhere to keep it in place. I will look closer at it tomorrow and make sure it is tucked out of the way so it doesn't become damaged. Thanks
