Ignition sticking

ok guys,

So twice now I have started my truck and the ignition has stuck in the "start" position with the starter engaged. When I pull the key back to "run" the enging dies. It always starts right back up, but I do not want this to become a problem that ends up with me changing a blown starter or have a flywheel with missing teeth.

What do you guys think that it could be, anything that I could do to keep it from happening again?

02 F-150 Screw, 5.4L, 4x4, FX4 just over 95,000.

Thanks for the help.

Ford has issued a TSB on the issue. As for me, I just manually turm my switch back to the run position after starting the truck. Mine hung up a couple of times too, so I make sure it returns to run every time I start the truck.
